Virtual Drawing Pad
Overview:
This virtual drawing pad is basically an application which detects movement of coloured objects like a marker of any colour that you can hold in your hand. It imitates your hand movements and replicates them on the screen hence it draws. The image processing code is written in MATLAB and OPEN CV. This algorithm includes the auto calibration of any colour which gives the threshold values of the colour to be detected. The algorithm includes finding out the centre of mass of the area of detected object. When the detected object is moved the position of centre of mass changes and by joining the consecutive centre of masses the line is drawn. According to our algorithm the colour of the line drawn is similar to that of the detected object.
